Geography

Geography is the scientific study of the Earth’s landscapes, environments, and the relationships between people and their environments. It encompasses the analysis of both the physical properties of the Earth’s surface, such as landforms, climates, flora, and fauna, as well as the human aspects, including population distribution, culture, economics, and social structures. Geography seeks to understand how these elements interact and affect one another, often exploring patterns, processes, and spatial relationships through various scales—from local to global. It employs a range of methodologies, including mapping, spatial analysis, and geographical information systems (GIS), to investigate and illustrate these dynamics effectively.
