Climate Science
Climate Science is the interdisciplinary study of the Earth's climate system, focusing on its long-term patterns, variations, and processes, including the interactions between the atmosphere, oceans, land surfaces, and living organisms. It encompasses the analysis of historical climate data, the modeling of future climate scenarios, and the understanding of the natural and anthropogenic factors that influence climate change, such as greenhouse gas emissions, solar radiation variations, and land-use changes. Climate scientists use tools from meteorology, oceanography, biology, and geology to investigate phenomena like global warming, extreme weather events, and sea-level rise. The goal of climate science is to improve our understanding of climate dynamics and to inform policies aimed at mitigating the impacts of climate change on ecosystems and human societies.
